How CWhereUCheaper handles customer, shopping, account and service data.

Information we collect

Account information such as your username, email address, shopping area, plan state and security settings.

Shopping information you choose to save, including baskets, watched products, household preferences, savings goals, actions and Savings Proof.

Device, session and privacy-minimised usage information needed to secure, operate and improve the service.

Billing information

Payment collection is available only through secure Payfast checkout while every payment-readiness control remains satisfied. Billing records may contain provider references, plan, amount, currency, payment status, service period and audit timestamps.

CWhereUCheaper does not store full payment-card details. Payfast by Network processes card and transaction details on its hosted payment service when billing is available.

Necessary contact, payment, transaction and technical data is shared with Payfast for payment processing, fraud and risk checks, service operation and legal compliance, which may include authorised cross-border processing.

VAT status: registered. Displayed customer prices are the complete totals payable and include VAT where applicable.

Pro interest

If you choose Save my Pro interest, we store an account-scoped record containing allowlisted source, feature and billing-period context.

This record does not initiate payment, create a subscription or change entitlement.

Use, providers and retention

We use information to operate and secure accounts, provide requested savings work, deliver authorised communications, support approved affiliate links and improve the service.

Configured providers are used only for the purpose shown. Private customer data and internal tools remain outside public commercial content.

We retain records only as needed for service, support, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Raw first-party analytics may be pruned after 400 days.

Your choices and rights

You can request access, correction or deletion where applicable law allows it.
